Lee started his career early 2006 as home insulation surveyor and energy adviser working on various Local Authority and Utility Company contracts around the south west. He surveyed many properties to access their suitability for retro-fit cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, solar and central heating upgrades. Whilst working in this field he obtained his Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessors qualification and soon after completed his BTEC National Diploma in Identifying Housing Defects and Maintenance Planning in 2014.

Lee then decided to approach various building consultancy’s and started work as a Stock Condition Surveyor, inspecting social and Ministry Of Defence housing for repairs, replacements, improvements and energy efficiency. He obtained a substantial amount of knowledge and experience from carry out these surveys on many different types of properties and also had the support of a well-qualified and educated senior team of surveyors to help him progress in his career.

Qualification
The opportunity arose and Lee enrolled on the Sava Diploma training scheme in which he later completed in 2019 and soon after qualified and secured employment as an Associate RICS Residential Surveyor and Valuer with a Large firm, which allowed him to undertake RICS Homebuyer, Building, Stock Condition and Valuations. He now works undertaking Level 2 & 3 surveys throughout Bristol Leading down to Somerset. Assoc RICS 6670979

Specialism
Lee has a great knowledge of anything Energy and given the drive to net zero. He is happy to survey flats, and his social housing background gives him an in-depth knowledge of stock type housing, where he has seen and done it before. He is also very good with Building Surveys for anything built in the last 120 years and is great allrounder.

Interests
He loves to travel, reading and is renovating a large property in Somerset as well as e- mountain biking.
